🌸 What Would You Create If It Didn’t Have to Be Perfect?

Sometimes the hardest part of creating isn't figuring out what we want to make.

It's believing we're good enough to make it.

We compare our work to other people's. We worry we'll mess it up. We tell ourselves we're “not artistic,” “not talented,” or that we'll try once we're better at it.

But creativity was never supposed to require perfection. ♡

God created each of us with different gifts, interests, ideas, and ways of expressing ourselves. Sometimes creating can simply be about enjoying the process, trying something new, and allowing ourselves to make something that's completely, beautifully imperfect.

So here's our first Creative Faith Collective conversation:

🎨 If you knew whatever you created didn't have to be perfect, what would you make?

Maybe you'd...

🌸 Paint even though you've never painted before

✍️ Write the book or poem you've been thinking about

🎶 Learn an instrument or write a song

📖 Try Bible journaling

🧶 Learn crochet, sewing, or another craft

📸 Pick up photography

💎 Start that diamond art you've been putting off

✨ Create something completely different

Whatever your answer is, there's no skill requirement here.

Tell us what you'd create—and if you already have something you've been afraid to start, tell us about that too. ♡

I'll go first in the comments. 🌿
